sentimental...

i am not sure why, but i have this overwhelming sentimental feeling about the boyz lately...it is surprising, since i am overwhelmed with the half day kindergarten and ewan's speech therapy schedule...i keep telling myself, i will miss these moments...life seems so complicated but i know we are at the cusp of complication...cameron has evolved to a greater understanding and ewan is just starting...i am so thankful...for every moment...with all three kids...but these boyz started it all and paved the way for sweet isobel...here are some pictures capturing a few of my favorite sentiments...

isobel is two!

how to describe this girl...she wakes up every morning with infinite energy and an agenda...she squeals, "good morning!!'...she needs yogurt first...lots of cuddling and then comes the jumping...followed by the climbing...do not forget her gabba, gabba...she is passionate...she loves her brothers but beats them regularly...we all do not know what we would do without her but she is definitely the messy, mess in our lives...if the boys want their legos, they have to shut their door...if i do not want her hands in the toilet, we have to shut the bathroom doors...she can push you to the edge and then says, "i sorry mommy"...and she means it...i am so excited to see this crazy girl grow up...we are so thankful for this little blessing...

p.s. we are so thankful grandpa is out of the hospital and has his super duper brand new pacemaker...

2013

how to begin...it has been a rough year...i should have know last january, when i was writing 2014 in my OR documentation...2013 has been a rough year...after rolling from christmas, izzy turned one in january...we had flu after flu after flu...i turned 40...the boyz turned 5...we attempted organized sports with pretty much failure...we finally sold our house after a very complicated start...we failed at finding a house to suit our needs...so we moved out of garden road and into my baby sister's house for two glorious weeks...right as the boyz started school where we thought we would be living...so fortunately we found a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhome with attached 2 car garage to live for 6 or so plus months...it has been a wonderful easy adjustment to kindergarten for cameron...it has been a rough road for ewan...we have sent this poor child over the edge with transitions...izzy is a "character" as described by most...we are overwhelmed with love for these children...we do not know how we would do it without grandma and grandpa and keena and caitlin...here are a few photos to document this rough but amazing year...

5+5+1.4=LOVE

these three kids...i can not explain enough how i love them...cam, always talking about cousin wampa, but mostly acting appropriately, but way above his level...ewan, his energy and love for animals, passion never ending...isobel, infinite energy, she thankfully communicates clearly and entertains herself.  i am overwhelmed with gratefulness...understanding how truly fortunate i am to just be a part of these healthy lives...

the moment...

the moment is almost too much...isobel is non-stop, with teeth never ending...cam keeps trying to be a big kid at 5 years old but it is hard when your twin brother, still feels like he is 4...we have spontaneously put our house on the market...that comes with it's own set of too much...i just want to have the opportunity to slow down...enjoy the moment...we will see...i still feel like every moment right now is surreal...i never imagined we would actually have three children...i am so thankful...

isobel at 16 months, because she has hardly been documented...she is a pistol...my pediatrician who has lots of experience, has told me she will make cam and ewan seem like angels...she loves the outdoors...can not get enough of it...she loves to dance...all the time...music can pick her up at any moment...her favorite song is Call Me Maybe...she loves to wave hi...and loves to blow kisses...she loves to sleep...so active but yet loves taking in the moment...a perfect combination of the boyz...an amazing smile...

looking back

looking back, i hope they were as happy as they seemed...looking back i know i hugged a little more and savored the moment...looking back one baby was so much easier than two babies at the same time...looking back, life is complete with her....looking back, these boyz are so very smart and amazing...looking back, it was a hard but epic year...we are so thankful : )

first...

dear isobel...we have made it through your first month and we celebrated by giving you your first bath...(please do not judge, we are only a week late since your umbilical cord just fell off: )...daddy gave you your bath...he is in charge of kid cleanliness and laundry...you were not sure at first but you loved it and kept trying to dip your foot in the water...good times : )
