the chaos theory...

we had a very chaotic weekend...andrew had been out of town this past week...saturday morning, he got up and headed out with his dad to get a half cow from the butcher about an hour and a half from c-bus, his sister had raised the cow and we were splitting the half with our friends fritz and heidy...while he was gone, i walked with the boyz (in the stroller) to the clintonville farmer's market (about a mile and a half away)...we visited my friend mary who makes the BEST cookies and cupcakes...when andrew got home, the boyz were going down for a nap...after sorting the meat, andrew started putting ours in the freezer and i headed out to run errands...heidi and fritz and anna came over for a visit and picked up their 100 pounds of meat...we found anna and cam in the monkey chairs hanging out, checking out the neighborhood...

they all ended up in the sandbox...

we all had a great time...andrew and i fell asleep when we put the boyz down at 8, luckily we woke up before the the morning!
sunday made me laugh when the boyz tried to climb the pear tree,

but it ended with the boyz hanging out watching the world go by...

we headed to celebrate jacob's 1st birthday...we had a blast...jacob is my jen borucki's son...he is so cute and we LOVE him!

we finished our weekend at heidi and fritz's in zanesville...we had an AWESOME meal and lots of fun...we just had some worries...ewie is allergic to cats...everywhere we go with cats, we hope he will be okay...but he is not...we just have to have a plan...like the chaos theory, anything that starts as chaos can end as a predictable plan...we will find our plan with ewie and all will be okay!

thursday...

thursday was quite busy...we started off in our bilibo chairs...

did some gardening...

stalked the neighbors dogs...

had lunch outside at our monkey table and chairs with umbrella...

a bunch more stuff but finished the day with a popsicle because somebody is cutting his molars...

this evening...

this evening cam did the "jumping jellyfish" dance and ewie called people from his elmo phone...good times!

all grown up...

we went to the zoo today...the boyz were very good and acted all grown up...

i took them to the zoo all by myself...and i felt all grown up!!

outside...

ewan starts out his day, sitting in our big leather chair searching out the front window for buses and squirrels and birds...he brings me my shoes and tries to put them on my feet when he is completely desperate to go outside...a child of few words but always finds a way to get his point across...we headed outside at 9:15 this morning...had our string cheese and cracker snack by 9:30...had a visit from my friend from work and her husband by 10:00...then headed on a walk in the jogging stroller...i made a poor judgement and purchased "push pops" for the boyz at walgreens, with no wipes or napkins...we made it back home and after being hosed off ("on mist" aunt jeanne!) played for a while, before heading in for lunch and naptime...the afternoon was filled with caitlin, grandma, grandpa, bubble mowers, cotton candy, easton, wagon ride to vote and more bubble mower time...we spend most of the day outside and it was wonderful...cameron ended his day reading me his abc book...he can recite the names of most of the pictures...he says each word with such excitement!!  a child of many words and always gets his point across...love them both so much!!

our cup runneth over...

after a much deserved night away, thanks to aunt keena...we can appreciate how much our cup runneth over...

big boyz, bacon and bikes

and cars and elmo and dinosaurs...these are just a few of the favorites going around here at the moment...it has been nice to be able to enjoy it without keeping them out of the way of contractors...cameron is speaking so much clearer...he says "elmo" with such enthusiasm, especially when he gets to watch elmo wearing his elmo pajamas in our bed...ewie is starting to speak more words and babble back and forth with cam...ewie loves cars and will play with them for 20 minutes at a time...he still continues to climb ANYTHING, and i feel some sort of sympathy when our pediatrician, says, "wow, i hope cameron is not that way," as she is watching ewie stand on his head while using his feet to scale the door...luckily cam was sitting back taking it all in, just waiting to charm her!
